Colors and Deadlines

Well, hello there!
I hope you are enjoying the fall season as much as I am – it’s just the yummiest time of year, isn’t it?
Pumpkin, spices, candles, mmmm…
One of the drawbacks to refinishing furniture is having it sit inside your house for long periods of time.
Don’t get me wrong – I love staring at all the pieces I work on, but, well, this is a business, and they must go.
Take this blue/gray antique dresser, for example:
Well, nobody wanted it. Maybe the color wasn’t right. I also live in a location that people think is “way out there,”  so I’m pursuing putting my pieces in a shop. (I digress.)
One day I needed to get off the computer and out of the house so I painted it white.
It sold the next day.
As much as I love experimenting with color, basic black and white sells faster.
And, I must address my self-imposed November 1st deadline for the ebook.
It’s been quite the labor of love.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but it’s been a great journey!
I think another month should be all I need to get everything wrapped up.
In the meantime, here is a little trailer for you!
