The idea to write this step-by-step how-to guide came as a result of scouring books and the internet to find answers to our questions when we began painting and refinishing furniture. Answers were either difficult to find or confusing, and there definitely wasn’t one place where we could find everything put together in an easy-to-read format.
After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars and hours on trial and error to produce our finishes, and due to the many emails we receive asking us how-to questions, we realized there was a need for a comprehensive guide like the one we have written. This is the book we were looking for when we started to paint and refinish furniture!
The book is 48 pages long, and includes pictures and hyperlinks to short videos. Our goal during writing was for the information to be well organized and as concise as possible. It is a great resource to explore what is involved in producing high-end finishes.
